Repeat

This week was amazing! The work is going so well! Elder Moye and I can see the fruits everyday! 

We were able to have interviews with President this week! It was so awesome! He showed me a scripture in Jeremiah where Christ is talking about missionary work! Jeremiah 16:16 says,"Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks" We read it and he explained it in a really cool way! He said that the Lord sends fishers to catch many fish. But the Lord also send hunters out to hunt in the rocks and the crevices of the earth. He talked about other areas and compared them to fishermen-because they find many people. Then, he compared our area to the hunters in the rocks. Other areas are finding many many people but only baptizing a few. He said Elder Moye and I are searching very diligently in the holes and the rocks to find those that are elect and baptizing the same. He then asked me to remember looking for those elect and how I have done that, because in my mission, I need to be finding the elect. He made a big emphasis on the fact that we are out here to baptize converts. So we find the elect and convert and baptize them.

To compare this to my life, I think of it this way. We have our lives and the things we do in them. We have great things and we have good things and we have bad things. If we filter out the bad, we have good and great. Then we filter out the good and keep the great things. That's how we grow. The great things are most important in the eyes of the Lord. I invite you all to start filtering out those goods and bads-whether that be making them better our making them go away.
