At least read the story about Mario... We had a crazy week-lots of blessings but a couple sad experiences. There is a wonderful man that works at our service place. His name is Mike. He is like so cool! All the missionaries love him and we heard that he told other missionaries that we believe everything he believes but so much more! We have a pretty good relationship and we have talked about church before. I had the feeling to ask him what questions he had. He told us some but he had to go and said to come to his house later. So we went that evening and taught him and he really opened up! It went so well! Pray for him!! On Saturday, we went to the Temple with Gabriel!! He saw some of our pamphlets and he contacted us and told us he was a member when he was young and wants to come back. His family has always told him about temples and we were able to take him for his first time ever! The spirit hit him so hard in the Celestial room and he started crying. We had a wonderful time with him...

We are both staying again!! On Friday, I got a text from my mission President saying that he wanted to call me. So I responded and we ended up talking Friday night. He told me that he had received a strong prompting that I needed to stay another transfer. It felt like he didn't know why, but he knew I needed to stay here another transfer. I have seen many examples of him listening to the spirit and being truly guided. This was another testimony builder in my trust for my mission President. We had an interesting week. For those that remember, a couple weeks ago we were having a hard time finding people. We are starting to see this problem again and this week we did everything we could to stop that. We had only one new person, but we spent a lot of time focusing on preparing for next week and the weeks to follow. This week was amazing! The work is going so well! Elder Moye and I can see the fruits everyday!  We were able to have interviews with President this week! It was so awesome! He showed me a scripture in Jeremiah where Christ is talking about missionary work! Jeremiah 16:16 says,"Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks" We read it and he explained it in a really cool way! He said that the Lord sends fishers to catch many fish. But the Lord also send hunters out to hunt in the rocks and the crevices of the earth. He talked about other areas and compared them to fishermen-because they find many people. Then, he compared our area to the hunters in the rocks. Other areas are finding many many people but only baptizing a few. He said Elder Moye and I are searching very diligently in the holes and the rock...

During our companionship time in this area, Elder Moye and I had a month where we only found 3 people. I opened this area with my last comp and it has been a rough road! I've heard opening an area is hard and I understand now! Last week was one for the books. We found 17 people!! We are currently teaching 7 of them and have 10 more that are super interested! Miracles! 2 of these people are now seriously praying about a baptism date. Elder Moye, The Spirit and I did it! It has been a crazy week! We found these people in places we never thought possible. The Lord has blessed us for our efforts. Even our mission President has seen our works and he told us that we are now a zebra area(English and Spanish area) so we can teach anyone we meet. But all of our people are spanish speakers! Such a big miracle! All the prayers are working.
