Last Week In Mexico...

The MTC has been a challenge but has also been super helpful. I've learned a lot of life lessons and have a good time with my district. I have been surprised with the amount of love our teachers have for us. You can tell how much they love us and how much they would do for us.

There is an Elder from zone 15. He is the zone leader and he is wonderful. I had him come to our house devotional last night to play his guitar for us. He came and said he was going to bear his testimony through song. He had written a song of his testimony and it was so amazing-it brought the spirit so well. He's amazing.

We went to the temple today and on the way there I threw up out of nowhere! I wasn't feeling too good after I threw up. So when we got there they asked me how I felt and I said I was OK but a little sick and then they said I was okay to go into the session. So during the session I get nauseous and quickly say a prayer to calm my stomach so I would be able to be endowed for David Oliver Ramsey. Almost instantly I was relieved and didn't feel nauseous. Then, in the Celestial room, I got nauseous again but wanted to stay and feel the spirit, especially since it could be my last time for a year cause the Richmond Temple is still being built. So I said a prayer again to not feel nauseous and explained why. After, my stomach was better and I felt great. I learned through this that if I am trying my best to feel the spirit and come closer to God that he will do what he feels is right for each of us. He knew my desire was to stay and feel that wonderful spirit and he knew how bad I wanted it. So he answered my prayers. Pray with purpose and with intent. Bring the spirit with you in your decisions. I know it will help you.
