Last Week In Mexico...

The MTC has been a challenge but has also been super helpful. I've learned a lot of life lessons and have a good time with my district. I have been surprised with the amount of love our teachers have for us. You can tell how much they love us and how much they would do for us.  There is an Elder from zone 15. He is the zone leader and he is wonderful. I had him come to our house devotional last night to play his guitar for us. He came and said he was going to bear his testimony through song. He had written a song of his testimony and it was so amazing-it brought the spirit so well. He's amazing. We went to the temple today and on the way there I threw up out of nowhere! I wasn't feeling too good after I threw up. So when we got there they asked me how I felt and I said I was OK but a little sick and then they said I was okay to go into the session. So during the session I get nauseous and quickly say a prayer to calm my stomach so I would be able to be endowed for David Oli...

The mtc is wonderful! I am so busy all the time and it's awesome to be busy but I'm so tired! It's been a wonderful p-day, so nice to relax. I have been so surprised with the love that all the workers have for the Missionaries.  A lot of them like to mess around but even with that they are still so happy!  I met these two natives and it was super cool to talk to them in Spanish but I realized I'm not doing as good as I thought lol. It was super cool to meet them though.  Elder Hugo Montoya from the 70 came and spoke to us yesterday. At the end of his wonderful lesson, he let us all know he will be speaking in the first session of conference I believe. After he told us that he shook everyone's hand and I was one of the lasts so I shook his hand, grabbed his shoulder and said,"I hope we can all make you proud". So I am definitely going to be in his talk so be ready for that. Alright now for the earthquake. It's so crazy that this happened. September 19th...

Week 1

HOLA!! My district is AWESOME I love them all.  We have learned so much and had problems but we have  grown stronger from those experiences.  The food, I was told that it was terrible. It was worse than expected and luckily I wasn't here for the worst day which I heard was called the night of many flushes.  I've met the Doctor here-he was on our fight from Utah. He is so cool and we have gotten pretty close. I talk to him almost every day but then I got sick and he quarantined me so I'm a little upset haha. Not really.  I was called as district leader which was so crazy and such a blessing-I was so happy to be called. It's been an awesome experience.  Mark 11:24 is my new favorite scripture. It is so cool and talks about prayer. It taught me how to pray better and has helped me receive more answers.  I have seen so many little miracles and have been so grateful for them! I can't say them all but one is I was praying for an answer like right before I wa...
