We had an amazing week this week! We have truly turned over a new leaf in our area. So far, in the last 2 weeks, we have found double the people that we found in the 6 weeks before that. We have the FAITH to grow our area. Faith. That's the key to it all. Just read Alma 32: 27. He just asks us to try! Even start with just wanting to believe. Believe you can break through hard times. Believe you can break through bad addiction. All you have to do us try. Through Him. Jesus Christ.  Well that's my soap box for the week. Well actually not true. We have been doing a lot of street contacting at Walmart. We go and meet people there-then invite them to church and more. So lots of soap boxes haha Love, Elder Owens Photos

This week was just crazy! We had some great things planned, but none of it even happened! I've been told that's a life lesson. I sure hope not cause I have some good plans. We did lots of last minute service this week. It was wonderful to serve the members of Tappahannock. Everything we did needed to be done for those people! All of that has taught me patience. Through these unplanned events occurring, our area is suffering even more. We hardly had chances to work! Hopefully the Lord understands and helps us. I have faith he will. This week we got transfer news! I am staying and receiving Elder Horn and I will be the District Leader. The Tappahannock English area is being closed and Elder Horn from that area is my new companion!! Elder Pettibone is going to Williamsburg. So far, all of my companions have served there and now he is!! HAPPY LATE INDEPENDENCE DAYYYY!!! We had a pretty crazy week this week. We started on Tuesday with knocking doors, then ended at a party with fireworks! On Wednesday, we had an exchange! I was with Elder Schow! Thursday we had weekly planning and English Class, Friday we had an exchange and Saturday we had service almost all day!! I got 3 ticks!! It is all okay though-I caught them soon! Luckily I probably won't have a problem that my sister, Kaelia, did. (She got bit by a tick on her mission and got really sick). Hallelujah! Sunday, I spoke in church and we were busy the rest of the day!!! I only got to work in my area for half a day this week! So please pray for my area and our friends! Also! Message me on Facebook! Guadalupe is praying about baptism!!! Everybody please play for her. We are hoping to see her prayers answered! She is so amazing and has a strong faith! She has felt that her Catholic church doesn't have all the truth and says that ours feels right. It so cool to see her grow. We will be having a lesson with her this week!  Sorry it's so short this week!
